SURAJ SATHYAN
PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT/ FOUNDER
 
With an innate eye for design and an enduring passion for architecture, Suraj has always believed that great spaces tell human stories. After completing his B.Arch from MIT, Manipal, he trained in Mumbai and later joined Balan & Nambisan Architects in Bangalore, where he honed his skills in residential and commercial design. In 2017, he founded 7ft Studio, a boutique design practice built on creativity, clarity, and craft. What began as a small studio has evolved into a multidisciplinary firm with a growing body of work across India and the UAE, spanning hospitality, retail, F&B, residential, and workspace design. Driven by purpose and precision, Suraj continues to lead the studio’s expanding portfolio with the same curiosity and commitment that defined its early days, creating spaces that are timeless, human, and grounded in design integrity.
LAKSHMI SIMHA

DESIGN LEAD/ INTERIOR DESIGNER
 
Drawn to art and architecture from a young age, Lakshmi’s journey into interior design came naturally. She believes every space has a story to tell, and her work focuses on
shaping those stories with warmth, balance, and clarity. A graduate of Mount Carmel College, Bangalore, and later Politecnico di Milano, Italy, she brings both global perspective and local sensitivity to her designs. After gaining experience across diverse contexts, Lakshmi joined 7ft Studio, where she continues to explore design that blends purpose with emotion, creating spaces that feel timeless, authentic, and deeply human.
